Progress Update 22: Appendix A and B Finished

Greetings Fellow Adventurers,

It's been two weeks since our last update and as promised we're keeping you in the loop with what we've achieved in that time. 

We've finalised the design of Appendix A: Faith and the Gods in Rodozem and Appendix B: Whirlwind and Organizations. We're currently working on Appendix C: Monsters which is a little trickier due to the number of stat blocks on there, so we're trying out the best ways of fitting everything in a way that would be easy for GMs to read/cross-reference.  

What's left:

• Finalise Appendix C
• Design Appendix D
• Design Initial Pages - Forward/Disclaimer/Table of Contents
• Insert hyperlinks (for quick navigation)
• Finalise the Cover Design

 and we're all done! 

Our party is currently facing the final Design boss and we will prevail! 

We'll keep you updated with the progress and hopefully soon we will have a finished adventure!

Progress Update 21: New Rewards and Delay

Greetings fellow adventurers!   

In this update we’ve got some good news and some bad news.  Starting with the bad news, even though we’ve tried our best, the design won’t be finished before the 7th. This is currently out of our hands as we’re outsourcing the design. We feel horrible for letting you down but we’ve come up with a plan to make it up to you!   

Where we’re at  

We’ve fully finished designing the adventure part of the book and we’ve started work on the appendices. This is all the information about the gods, the monsters / stat blocks, items and handouts. The work here should be a lot more straight-forward we hope!  

Next Steps and Special Rewards  

We were going to announce this later down the line but you’ll need it for context. After the Devil’s Bridge gets released, our plan is to release regular monthly content via Patreon (locations, monsters, adventure hooks, one shots etc.). We’ve got many exciting ideas in place, but we will tell you more about them when the time comes.  

Once our Patreon is live and running we will give all of you a free month’s worth of content for each week of delay of you receiving the digital copy of the adventure starting from today.  

We’re really sorry, and we hope that this extra reward from us makes things a little better!  

We will keep you updated throughout this month with any development.

Progress Update 20: All is on track!

Greetings fellow adventurers,

This is a quick update to let you know that everything is going as planned and we're now nearly done with the adventure page layout design. 

All that's left afterwards is the appendices design and the finishing touches on the cover, opening pages and mentioning all of you amazing people who believed in us and this project.

Progress Update 19: PDF Delivery Date and More

Greetings fellow adventurers! 

The last month has been crazy with regards to page design. To give you an idea of how the process is going - after we agreed on the design of all the elements and how we want to implement them, our designer started work on the final design Act by Act. 

We're currently halfway through the adventure which will be followed by the appendices containing all the lore about the gods, monsters, items and handouts.

With the current speed and some time to account for unexpected hiccups we have agreed on June 7 for the date when we will send everyone the digital version of the adventure. 

This won't be the official release date as all of you will receive it way-before we release it to the public. Our first priority is fulfilling our duty to all of you!

So here's a toast *we all raise our potions of haste in the air* -  and now we're swiftly getting back to work with double movement speed and extra actions throughout this coming month!

Progress Update 18: Nearly there!

Greetings fellow adventurers! 

We're nearing the finish line. Over the last month we've been solely concentrated on the work with our amazing page layout designer and going through different revisions, designs and ideas for the plethora of elements included in this process. 

In the meantime we're preparing the groundwork for initiating the printing process once the design is all finished so we are as time efficient as possible! 

We're excited to let you know that we're aiming to give you a definite delivery date for the digital edition of The Devil's Bridge in our next update. 

Spoiler alert, we're so happy with how the final look is shaping up!!!
